Juvenile/Mature Poultry Shipping:
Air Shipping: Juvenile/mature poultry are shipped by air from the Edmonton International Airport. West Jet and Air North work best for shipping birds but other airlines can be requested. Airports that are available are marked by the blue airplanes on the map above. Please note that some airports are not shown if there is a lower cost option available for that area.
Couriers: Duckopolis has several courier options available for shipping juvenile/mature poultry. They can be shipped this way for most of the year, however will not be shipped if the temperature is above 25 degrees Celsius or below minus 15 Celsius. The majority of delivery locations will arrive the next day, but there are a couple that are 2 day shipping. Juveniles and mature birds shipped this way will need to be picked up from the couriers warehouse.
Sales Delivery: Duckopolis can deliver juvenile/mature orders to various sales that we will be attending. These sales and their dates will vary year to year, and will be posted as an available shipping option on the website a few weeks prior to the sale. If they are not posted it may be too long until the sale for us to hold the birds. We will post sales we are attending on our Facebook page. When meeting at a sale boxes will be prepackaged and set to the side for you, the shipping box charge will be required as well.
Shipping Sheep:
Sheep will be shipped in plastic pet crates, or if being delivered the customer will be responsible for providing an appropriate means to transport the sheep home from the delivery location. We can suply the plastic pet crates for an additional charge as well. Please contact me if you would like an estimate on what the shipping will cost. Sheep can be shipped by air, delivered to a sale, or on a delivery trip.
Air Shipping: Sheep are shipped by air from the Edmonton International Airport. West Jet and Air North work best for shipping sheep but other airlines can be requested. Final payment for the sheep will be invoiced 3 weeks prior to the expected ship date. In addition the cost for the carriers required to ship the sheep, and the shipping total will be invoiced and is required to be paid before the flight will be booked. Airports that are available are marked by the blue airplanes on the map above. Please note that airports for BC and some in Alberta are not shown. The airports not shown are the Calgary and Grande Prairie airports in Alberta; Abbotsford, Comox, Kelowna, Prince George, Vancouver, and Victoria airports in BC.
Sales Delivery: Duckopolis can deliver sheep to various sales that we will be attending. These sales and their dates will vary year to year. We will post sales we are attending on our Facebook page. At a sale Duckopolis may have the sheep in the sale barn with us, or may leave them in the parking lot depending on the type of sale.
