DUCKOPOLIS ONLY SHIPS WITHIN CANADA. WE WILL NOT EXPORT ANY ORDERS AT THIS TIME.

Day Old Poultry Shipping:
We have several options available for shipping day old birds:

Air Shipping: We can ship by air across Canada. Day olds can be shipped from April through August this way. They hatch on Tuesday and will generally ship out Tuesday or Wednesday, however arrangements for another day can be made. Airports that are available are marked by the blue airplanes on the map below. Please note that some airports are not shown if there is a lower cost option available for that area.

Couriers/Bus Shipping: Duckopolis has several courier or bus shipping options available for shipping day old poultry. Day olds can be delivered from April through August this way. They hatch on Tuesdays, and will arrive on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday. Day olds shipped this way will need to be picked up from the courier or bus warehouse. The following are the available couriers and their delivery points:

ACE Courier: For BC and southern Alberta, there are 24 delivery locations. On the map below ACE courier destinations are yellow.

ColdShot: For Alberta, and northern BC, there are 31 delivery locations. On the map below ColdShot destinations are orange.

Coutts Courier (via WestJet): Delivery by Coutts will be available to Saskatoon and Regina. Orders being shipped by this method will fly with WestJet to one of the two locations. Coutts Courier will be picking the orders up from the airport and will then distribute the orders from their warehouse. Because this shipping will combine air with the courier, there will only be 2 availability dates to start the year (one for Saskatoon and one for Regina), if that date sells out another will be added. On the map below Coutts Courier locations are green.

Sales Delivery: Duckopolis can deliver day old orders to various sales that we will be attending. These sales are the North Peace Critter & Crafts Sale (Grande Prairie), St Paul Critter & Crafts Sale, Central Alberta Critter & Crafts Sale (Weaskiwin), and the Fort McLeod Sale. Orders being delivered to these sales will be from the previous Tuesdays hatch, so will be 4 days old. When meeting at a sale boxes will be prepackaged and set to the side for you. On the map below sales deliveries are marked by the purple ducks.

Shipping will be calculated for you at checkout. When ordering day olds to be shipped, the following minimum order numbers apply: bantam and polish chicks (8), other chicks (6), ducklings (4), goslings (4), keets (8), and poults (8).

Juvenile/Mature Poultry Shipping:

All juvenile and mature poultry will be shipped or delivered in approved shipping boxes. These boxes are used to ensure the safety and comfort of the birds while in transport. Duckopolis uses 2 sizes of boxes. The standard box costs $25 ea, and large boxes are $50 ea. The shipping box or boxes I use will depend on the breed of poultry and the order size.

Please contact me if you have any questions regarding box space for shipping poultry, or if you would like an estimate on what the shipping will cost. Juvenile/mature poultry can be shipped by air, by Courier, or delivered to a sale or on a delivery trip.

Air Shipping: Juvenile/mature poultry are shipped by air from the Edmonton International Airport. West Jet and Air North work best for shipping birds but other airlines can be requested. Final payment for the poultry will be due before they are shipped.
