Khaki Campbell Ducks
Khaki Campbell ducks are famous for their egg production. The breed was introduced in 1901 by Mrs Adele Campbell of England. Campbell’s were brought to North America in 1929, and were recognized by the American Poultry Association in 1941. They are a light weight duck weighing 4 to 4 1/2 pounds. They have a stream lined body and are active foragers.
Campbell ducks are sold as hatching eggs or mature ducks.
Hatching Eggs:
Hatching eggs will be available starting in March each year for pickup orders and in April for orders being shipped. Hatching eggs will be available through until August each year. When placing your order, if you have a timeline of when you would like the eggs, please add a note to the order and we will do our best to accommodate this. There is no guarantees we will be able to, as orders will be filled in the order they are received, but we will do our best to work with your requested schedule. Hatching eggs will require payment at the time of ordering and shipping will be invoiced the week prior to fulfillment of the order. Please note that with hatching eggs we will be unable to guarantee results as there are too many variables throughout the shipping and hatching process that are out of our control. However if you have questions at any point please do not hesitate to reach out and we will do our best to assist you.
Mature Ducks:
Mature ducks will be available twice a year in March/April, and September/October at approximately 18 months of age. Pre-orders will be available throughout the year, but orders will only be filled during these two time periods.
